Admission conditions of participants


The International Courses of “Música en Compostela” only refer to the Information and Interpretation of Spanish Music. Musicians of any nationality, who are in possesion of a certificate or diploma of high standard, can assist. The admission will be of two graduations: Scholars and Auditors.

The condition of Scholar will be obtained by a written application (see ), accompanied by a “curriculum vitae”, photocopy of D.N.I. or Passport, two carnet photographs and documents proving the musical education. In this condition they will have the right to the gratuity of the lodging and board at the Residenceof the University. Those who were not admitted as Scholars can choose to remain in the Course as Auditors.

The condition of Auditor will be justified by the payment of the corresponding duties of inscription; he must also pay the lodging and board.

The condition of Scholar, as also that of Auditor, will be determined by the Governing Board of “Música en Compostela” and verified by a Credential, given at the inauguration ceremony of the Course.

Directly to the General Secretariat of "Música en Compostela", either by mail or e-mail.

Date of admission: from January 1 to May 31, 2012.

Inscription duties (for all students): 250 Euros

This amount will be paid after the scholarship grantig (Scholars Students) and at the time of registration (Auditors Students).

Important observations

At the end of May, all students will receive precise instructions about the works they must prepare for their study along the Course.

Scholars as well as Auditors are only allowed to assist to one speciality. Any exception will have to be submitted to the Governing Board of the Course.

Disclaimers and non-appearances

Those students who, having been recipients and by whatever reason to give up the scholarship, must notify in writing and properly justify the reasons for his resignation, 15 days before the start of the course. Failure to do so and not meet the deadline to resign, not be eligible for a new scholarship in the next edition of the course.

If a student having obtained a scholarship is not presented to the course without having communicated his resignation to it, is not eligible for a new scholarship in the next two editions of the course.

Students repeat on waivers and / or unwarranted appearances, will be definitely rejected as candidates for scholarships.

Students wishing to attend the course and are excluded from any call by any of the above reasons, they can only do so as students Listeners, running on its own all expenses arising from your participation.
